Iran hates Al Qaeda which is a Sunni Fundamentalist organization which declares Shiites infidels and subhuman.
Iran shares its intelligence with America - they even arrested Taliban members and handed them over to US custody.So we’ve got the Iranian spring; things are finally going to sort out. And what happens? The Bush administration rebuffs every Iranian overture and does its best to instigate a cold war. Afghanistan is invaded, and suddenly, the Iranians are looking at American troops and allies on their eastern border. Then Iraq is invaded, and American troops and allies on their western border. Then bases and treaties in Uzbekistan, and whoops, there’s more American troops and allies on the northern border. The Persian Gulf is filled with American warships and carrier fleets.

Ich bin gerade über den Blog von Shelley, der Republikanerin gestolpert. Es strotzt nur so von Patriotismus und Hass auf alles, das nicht US-amerikanisch ist, gewürzt mit einer Prise fundamentaler Religiösität:
Imagine if the State of the Union address were hacked because the TV station decided to save money by using Linux? Imagine if a stealth-bomber crashed because it’s software was written by anonymous Chinese or European hackers. It would make as much sense as inviting the French to come over and take over the White-House.
And guess what software Osama Bin Laden uses on his laptop?
If you guessed it was Linux you would be 100% right. Osama uses Linux because he knows designed to counterfit DVDs, curcumventing the Digital Millenium Copyright Act, and defraud companies like Disney.
Next time somebody asks you how Al Queda agents pay for their rifles and rocket launchers, you can tell them that foreign hackers make software called Linux which helps them steal from Americans.

Europe is a good example of how America could look like if the leftwing liberals have their way.

Da bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass die Bemühungen der derzeitige Bundesregierung, der christlichen Religion wieder zu mehr Bedeutung zu verhelfen, erfolglos bleiben. Es reicht, wenn solche stumpfen schwarz-weiß Seher in den USA das Sagen haben.
Aber eigentlich ist es schon ein paar Lacher wert, vor allem die Diskussionen in den Kommentaren sind genial.

The Inquirer vergleicht die Strafen, die auf Raubüberfall stehen mit denen, die einem seit neuem im Land der unbegrenzten Haftstrafen (USA) für Raubkopieren drohen.
For example assaulting a police officer will get you five years, downloading child porn will get you seven years, assaulting without a weapon will get you ten years and aggravated assault six years.
So in other words if you copy a Disney CD and sell it you will be in the same league as a paedophile who is distributing pictures of sexual attacks on children.
If you copy Craig David’s CD you get ten years, but if you punch him in the face and pummel him into a seven day coma you will only get six. You are more likely to get the respect of the prison population with your six year sentence as well.
