Da nutzt man über Monate ein WordPress-Plugin, das auch ganz gut funktioniert und mit dem man eigentlich ganz zufrieden ist. Und dann erscheint nach einem automatischen Update plötzlich so ein Mist im Dashboard des eigenen Blogs.
Das war’s für mich, “WP-Stats-Dashboard” kommt mir nicht mehr in die Tüte.

Habe eben nach dem Plugin gegoogelt, um mal zu sehen was das überhaupt ist, weil ich es nicht kenne. Bin dabei auch auf deinen Artikel gestoßen, allerdings mit dem Vermerk von Google: Achtung: diese Website kann ihren Computer beschädigen. Allerdings steht dieser Vermerk nicht nur bei dir, sondern bei allen Links, die sich mit dem Thema beschäftigen. Sehr merkwürdig.

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion. Fact is that dashboard widgets can be turned on and off. Another fact is that WordPress regulations do not disallow these kinds of widgets. Hopefully you’ll reconsider using the plugin.
